Conducting Structured Investigations – one day
A practical workshop which focuses on the process and principles of conducting an investigation, terms of reference, gathering evidence, identifying witnesses, dealing with exhibits, structuring an investigation process, considerations, typical issues, report writing, disclosure and confidentiality.
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

Note Taking Skills – half day.
This practical workshop focuses on the skills of note taking within a fact finding interview.
It covers the role of the note taker, preparation, controlling the pace, capturing the interview accurately and comprehensively with appropriate detail, breaks and pauses, preparing robust notes.
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- record meetings and fact finding interviews accurately and with appropriate detail
- produce notes that will be robust if challenged
- support the company in providing thorough information so as to reach fair outcomes in potential disciplinary and grievance cases
- provide quality evidence likely to be accepted by a Tribunal

Two day comprehensive practical workshop for those who have some experience of carrying out investigations in the workplace and interviewing skills who have a need to improve their skill levels. The workshop includes training in the skills of note – taking.
